well you best guess would have to be.. take a few hours and open up the front disc brakes and check, maybe some metal object got into the disc, or drop by your local auto parts store and get some "brake sqeak" thing that you can apply to it to help fix the noise, but overall.. just spend sometime and take them out and do a close-up check.

Its probably your brake indicator .. it means time for new pads at least .. possibly rotors as well. Our pads have a metal indicator and once the pad gets worn to a certain point the indicator scratches against the rotor annoying you to the point where you will change your pads. :thumb:

Oh yea and it only takes a few minutes. It's only like 2 17mm bolts to pull the pads off. Just jack up the car and cut the wheel so you can easily reach the bolts. Obviously take the wheel off too. Take out the bolts and pop out the pads. Inspect the rotors and I'd replace them. ( 2 more bolts to get the whole caliper out of the way ) Then do the reverse order to reassemble. 30 minutes to do 1 rotor / pads IMO.

yeah well that would make sense, but the weird part is that the brakes screetch when im ACCELERATING, not braking. actually, when im brakin, it stops, no sense wats so ever...

where would u apply the squeak clean? to the rotor itself?

I just recently had that loud noise on my left front tire. I just bought some new brake pads and replaced them this past Friday. I haven't heard any sound since I replaced them. This is probably what is going on with your car.

actually the sound has ceased as a matter of fact. it began to lower down in tone and eventually it stopped. the trick was to pump the brake a billion times, and it finally wore off. maybe there was sumthin stuck in the rotor? i dont really know what that couldve been... i dont know much about brakes.
