heres a question for ya, may be dumb but hey, i have the 2.4liter sohc 4g64 in my spyder. when i buy engine upgrades like a catback, or similar do i want to get the turbo stuff for the 4g63 or do i get the 2.0l parts? i know the 2.0 non turbo engine is different thann the 4g63 but im still confused..

for catback, either will work. they have the same exaust flow. but ive heard the GSX's is different cause of the AWD, but i know the GS-T and GS's are all the same. i think thats about all the things that are interchangable. i believe the 3g GS eclipse has the 4G64 also, so you may be able to get performnace parts that are for that car. hope that helped, correct me if im wrong

I lot of 4g63t parts fit on our cars. I think the best cat back for the money is a megan racing n1 style. You can get it for about $275 shipped on ebay. It sound f--in tough. I love it its a very deep growl. Any fwd turbo catback will work. NO awd can work

Im also checkin in to the 4g64 in the 2000 +, but there are some diffs between them. like they sell an inake WITH piping for it, but the intake is on the right side not left. Maybe one could b flipped upside down and would work, anyone try it? if you find more info please let me know how much similar they r
