DIY cold air intake

I can't seem to find any info on building my own intake pipe for my 1.8 laser. I know no one makes a true cold air system for this engine model, so i'm gonna do it myself. How would I go about doing it (recommended materials, maf relocation?)? I also want to find out what kind of gains it would give to a JDM 1.8's horsepower.

go to homedepot and look around in the pvc section. get creative.

you'll see like 2 hp.

Think about using Dryer tubing... it's that flexable silver colored pipe.
