I heard if you take off the Air conditioning belt it increases horsepower, is this true

Do you ever plan on taking a girl for a ride in your car to a party or somewhere else? You'll regret you don't have that A/C working at that time. Besides, how much are you going to gain? 2HP? the A/C is clutch driven and only engages when it's working, otherwise it's just an idle pulley. Removing the spare tire and jack will probably make your car faster. But again, that's another dumb mod

That is true about the girl thing, but i have two cars and one of them will have the air conditioning, so i will take her in that car
