Hood Scoop

i am sure that someone in the world has a real working hood scoop installed on their DSM. The question is, is it working towards a real gain in HP/Torque? I generally stay away from hood scoops because they look kind of corny if they aren't done tasefully (like the stick on ones at meijer), and because if you want a real hoodscoop, then you should duct it to flow into the intake (like on a WRX STi, it flows through the intercooler). If you think it looks nice, then go for it, it might reduce your underhood temps a bit.

on wrx it cools top mount ic. if you do it directly in front of the air filter I think you should see the same results as you would from a true cold air intake.
