Intercooler Piping

I just had this idea of how to get more air for your n/t, I'm not sure If it'll work though. I was thinking of putting intercooler piping in and attaching a k+n to the end of it, and I would mount it so it wouldn't get wet and would stay completely secure. I was just wondering If anyone had thought of this or tryed it and if it worked or you think it'll work.

yeah kinda the same idea but it would be extra long like a ram air typa dealI figure if they put the intercooler down there , there's probably more airflow so more air = more power.

Are you saying actually putting in an intercooler? If that's what you mean, that would be useless on a NA car.

no i think he means mounting a k&n filter where the intercooler would go using intercooler piping from the k&n.. sorta like a homemade intake.. right?

Ohh..I reread his 2nd post. Thank god. I thought he wanted to put an intercooler on.

Most cold air intake filters come right to the side black plastic pieces on the 2g's Alot of people just remove the plastic piece to get more airflow.
