I have found a guy who can do forged internals for my 1.8. So I decided I am going to turbocharge it. I will be fabricating a exhaust manifold instead of using a colt manifold. Here are a few pics of the project so far.

Thanks for the link but im going to be using 8 to 1 compression pistons. I want to able to boost the hell out of this thing. The throttle body will work because im going to manual control the idle. I just need to weld the IAC opening shut at the bottom.

Just finished the manifold flange heres a pic

does anyone have anymore information on these or has anyone tried these?

NICE turbo man! I'm really glad someone believes in the 1.8l! I've heard of a few turbo 1.8's but NEVER a turbo 1.8 DSM with a t04e on it!
good luck with everything and if you have any questions I will try my self, I post-poned my turbo install (on my 2.0 non-turbo) until this summer.

Seems like a good package but the compression ratio is a little high for my application.

I'm Kinda pissed of right now. I have all these parts to fab and install and I can't until i get my log manifold elbows. I ended up ordering my exhaust pipe bender today so i can get going on my downpipe and intercooler piping.

Wrong turbo flange :shhh:

The Head to manifold flange is similar and if it were to be attempted the turbo to use would be a TD05 (8cm) style not 5H(6cm,7cm) the housing on starquests are also 8cm but I just wanted to clear that up:thumb:

Got the motor back today started to put her together.
