Ok heres the deal i have found out that i might not be able to afford a AWD so heres my plans, bolt ons injen intake, OBX header, 2.5 exaust. Suspension, dont know to much about this on our non turbos so any info or recomendations are appreciated. Wheels, probably some Kazera Bronze 17s with good tires. And know for the big question nitrous if i were to get a 50 or maybe a 75 shot is there a way that i can make it spray at wide open throttle. the main thing i will use this car as would be a daily driver and some autocross on the weekends or somthing do think this would be a good setup and would i net some gains, also what other parts would be helpful with this

Ok 19 veiws but know one has any info or anything

OK no bumping. Also the title of your thread draws no interest to anyone actually willing to help or offer advice. Additionally this is borderline bench racing.

You are basically asking "I want to make my car faster/cooler, what should I do?"

Try asking a specific question, like will "this one part" work well for my application, and do what I'm looking for? Obviously you would search first to make sure it hasn't been answered 100 times before.

Someone already probably reported this thread, but if you post a specific question, maybe a mod will give you a break.

Try again?

Don't know much about the 1G N/T platform. Sorry.

Obviously, traditional engine theory still holds true. Get more air and fuel into the combustion chamber and make sure you can get the exhaust out. That's about it. Don't know how readily available generic intake pipes are on eBay for your engine, but I would start there and get a nice K&N filter for it. No point in paying anything more than $100 total for an intake, including the K&N, imo. Is there an UDP available for your engine? I would think so, but don't know who offers it. Have you done the "free mods?" Turbo or not, a lot of them can be applied to an NT as well. Hit up the tech sections and make sure you've got "Stage 0" done before doing anything else.

As for the suspension, I don't see how any 1G FWD suspension set up couldn't work for you. Hit up the search for Ground Control coil overs and whatever struts are recommended for the 1G DSM.

I'm fairly certain that pretty much any nitrous system is only going to activate at WOT. Do your research and figure it out. In the time between your two posts, you could have answered pretty much all of these questions by using the search utility. Sorry.

For the nitrous, you can use an MSD controller (I'll try to find the part number) that will only activate it wherever you set the start and end point of a certain RPM window.

I just purchased a Laser n/t that already has a lot done to it. I was surprised as to how much there is for the car. The car has the JIC Magic coilovers, ST front and rear swaybars(though I think they only make the rear now), poly bushings, hacked airbox, header(dont know the brand), roll cage, momo seat, 5 point harnesses, and a few other things. After searching this forum I found a lot more for the motor than I ever thought I would.
Ground Control still makes coilovers and front camber plates for the fwd as I have them on my turbo car. ST still offers the rear sway bar, Energy Suspension still makes the bushings and motor mounts, and a lot of the parts for the turbo cars are the same.
I'm still searching for more things like a cold air intake, and more power adders, but I'm finding there's a decent amount of stuff out there. Just have to look a little harder.
