My 90 laser 2.0 nt is in need of a new head(bad valve guides and seals). i have been reading on here that a 2g head would be an upgrade for the 1g nt motors. is this tru? any help or seggustions would be great.

thanks joe

it depends on what you are looking for in performance... a 2g head will give you more low end... a 1g head will give you more topend... no offence but... do a search... others might not be so kind...

check thissite out...

its not 4g63 specific... but great info... nice read

happy learning

This would only occur IF you use a turbo 2G head. The 2G non-turbo heads you can not use.

The 2G turbo heads have smaller ports and the air velocity is greater, creating more low end power.

Just put a stock replacement on and be done with it.
