im looking for a front mount for my 1g and figured i might be able to get a used evo8 stock front mount for cheap. will a stock evo 8 front mount fit my 1g?

Yes it will fit and it has been done but it's not the best because of the way the inlet/outlet face. Also it may require some custom fabrication of a bracket. You should check out a Starion intercooler. Pretty cheap and there is a complete VFAQ on how to install one.

if i would flip it so that the inlet/outlets pointed up do you think that would work or make it any easier?
