weird flashing lights

I put two grounding straps on my car last week and started to notice that the battery and the one above the CE light start to flash under boost, acceleration. I hooked one strap in the stock location by the rear o2 sensor (hoping it would fix some tunning issues) and the second strap from the Exhuast manifold to the Radiator support frame.

Any ideas?

Your alternator is dying, probably just by coincidence. DSMs have very ....interesting... senses of humor.

Welcome to the world of rebuilt units.
Sometimes you just get stiffed. On a related note, my dad has replaced the brake master cylinder 4 times in 2 years on his car.
