Hello ya'll I know this is the wrong area to post this but, has anyone have an extra front bumper sitting around collecting dust?? Color does not matter. Shipping rates for such a large part is outrageous and was going to check with the local DSM Club members first. I picked up an stock 92 TSi FWD Auto black w/ 113k original miles today in Gainsville for $600 cash. She had been sitting on their lot for almost a year and no one bought it, until today.
The worst I found was the front bumper where it had impacted and tore the air dam/foglight housing area. It is beyond repair I believe because it is missing a chunk out of the dam dam. I would be up for any reasonable offer someone has, I would pick it up locally rather than trying to pay way more than they are worth to ship them.
Always scouring the Trader for parts but, would like to find a more local source and save some money on shipping to buy more parts. Always needing parts to add to my collection and other common items that break/wear out over time that one may have in their garage. Jax is the closest Club to Waycross, which is where I am at and I do not mind traveling on the weekends to add some miles until my next oil change =)
