Ok so I've been having some issues with my eclipse for about a month now and I'm pretty sure I've finally figured out what my main problem was, bad head gasket changed out last sunday hooray, two problems now though
1. The car won't turn over and I'm not sure why, thought I knocked the distributor out of time when I pulled it off but reset it and it still wont turn over so that's not it, thinkin maybe I knocked the whole thing off time while I had the cam sproket pulled off gonna check that later this week when I feel like it.
2. I went all cave man when I was puttin the valve cover back on and I cracked the damned thing any body got any idea where I can find an undamaged valve cover locally for a 1.8?(I know I really need to get a 4g63)

Ok so I checked yesterday and it was out of time, set it back in time and had to play with the distributor for about an hour to get it to work but it is running now... sort of. It's running VERY

rough and the engine is smoking. Any body have any idea what the hell I did?

You do a compression check after doing all this work ? I would start there, that could help explain a lot if its not good.
