Being that my car is soon to be on the road, finally did my e85 conversion, I have started to look up which wideband gauge I should purchase. My only requirement would be that it is digital and will last and not crap out.

I have narrowed my products down to glowshift and aem. However, being that glowshift is a good amount cheaper I looked into why it's so. I've heard from some others that the glowshift ones have problems and I was wondering if it is that big of a problem with their product, and if so, should I just go with an aem one?

Also, if there is another reputable brand out there please let me know.

I have the AEM UEGO and its great until you start logging with ECMlink. I would get the Innovative LC-1 (it's the same price as the AEM and logs better with ECMlink if you are ever considering that for in the future).

Hope this helps!

I use the mtx-l from innovate. Works great for me and I plan to log with dsmlink soon. It is also digital.

I plan on buying v3 within the next month so i'll definitely look into that innovative brand. Do they also sell other types of gauges? I would like to have my entire set by the same company if possilbe.

No, they are not a gauge company, and only offer gauges for their widebands.
What's a good company to go with that is supportive with link v3 and has multiple gauges?

I have the Innovate LC-1 blue gauge with Autometer Cobalt Gauges and the color matches rather well. You *could* get a Autometer AFR gauge, from what I have seen they are rather expensive.

EDIT: I went to take a picture of my gauges. However, my battery is so dead I couldn't crank a pissant's moped right now. I have attached pictures to allow for some comparison.

Why is it that it logs better?

No offense, but you would really sacrifice a good wideband just to get a matching gauge?
Pretty sure I said what's a good company that offers all three...

A Word about the AEM WB Kits

From my experience if you don't use a buffer on the EGT input on a 1g, In v3 Ecmlink the wideband will not read lower then 11.0:1 in your logs...

Also if you take the time to read the link above you will see there is actually more then just one AEM gauge out there. This becomes especially important if you are going to be using you wideband, to do narrowband simulation since the switching point will be different...

In the long run just get a LC-1, I've used both the the LC-1 has a number of features that the AEM gauges Do Not. First one it has 2 logable outputs... They can be configured to output any desired 0.0v-5.0v signal yes one these will be used up if you have a gauge that you outputting to...

There's a number of these threads of which wideband on here. I'd say take the time to do a search an you will be able to make an informed decision of which one is better with info the has already be provide numerous times... .

That about sums it up.

I have the Innovate LC-1 with the XD-16 gauge.. I have never had a problem, and it looks awesome. It has interchangeable backgrounds as well to match your existing gauges.. I have the Autometer Carbon Fiber series gauges and it matches perfect! Also logs very well with Link v3!

I have the AEM UEGO and its great, as the matter fact I have toasted the gauge when I installed for the first time. The alternator belt rubbed into the wire harness and fried the gauge. I called AEM and they send me a new one just paid shipping of course after I have sent them the old one, they determined the old one is not fixable.

I did a good amount a research, I was actually looking at buying the innovative gauge from a seller on this site a couple weeks ago but the reason I only listed aem or glowshift was that I knew that they sold a variety of gauges and I was wondering if they were reliable products.

i have a prosport wb gauge in my car right now and it is amazing! the face of the gauge is easy to read, it comes with everything you need and easy directions. It does everything you would every want a WB to do!

I would have bought the LC-1 but when I talked to STM, but they offered to send the AEM free overnight because I needed a wideband as soon as possible. I had sold my old wideband when it was off the road, and was expecting to take a long road trip.

I have AEM in both my cars. Seeing I haven't logged in 1g yet, but the 2g always was dead on with link and had no problems at all while tuning. It really comes down to what you'll be more comfortable using and what will fit you.
