HKS suspension- 1G awd

I was curious as to whether anyone knows anything about HKS suspension for a 90-94 awd. My car was purchased with these parts already on the car, from Stillen back in 1996 for $800. Apparently, HKS used to offer a suspension upgrade for 1Gs. Any first hand insight would be helpful. Just trying to figure out if it is worth keeping or it time for an upgrade.

I have some on my race car. I believe they are called hks sports. Are they shocks and springs? Coilovers? adjustable?

They are not blown at all, but they are kind of an anomaly. They are adjustable shocks, but not true coil overs. Since they are so rare, I was just posting to see if anyone else has ever owned a set.
I would post pics, but they aren't much to look at. Black shocks and black springs with green HKS stickers. I have the HKS manual, however there is no English translations to be found.

Your a lucky person those are some really rare shocks. I tried finding a set for my 1g but no luck.

If you can get them rebuilt, look into getting them done. The odds are you wont find much better for the price. I just bought a vr4 and got some Zeal coilovers. I did some looking and found they are about the best i can get for money wise. Just have to send them in now to get rebuilt also

Those are the same ones I have on my race car now! Is there a name for the spring and shock on the booklet? Let me know if you want to sell them!

Hrmmm, I just installed Megan coilovers and I had HKS in the front but I dont think they are coilovers. The rears went when the my first 1G got towed but I had removed the fronts before they did.
These may be some knockoffs I suppose.





Edit: Just checked the top of the coilover and yea they are coilovers. So were the rears no that I remember too bad theyre in some pik-n-take but they were shot anyways..

If they are still for sale in June they are all yours. However, they are generating quite a bit of interest locally and I doubt they will go unsold for very long.
