Alright So I am going with E85, I am going to get some 1000cc inj., a wally 255hp, and an SAFCII w/ an AEM wideband. I currently have a 5031E 54mm 50trim, going to have a 38mm WG (off the O2). Probably Ross Pistons with Manley Rods, ARP hardware. Also what spring should I run in my WG? I plan on boostin 25-27psi, so I dont get out of my efficiency range. Input? Suggestions? Compliments :D ?

Definitely need to get some other way to tune, at least an eprom chip. And I'd watch out about going the e-85 route, it might not last long. My buddy at purdue was talking about how his teacher was saying that a lot of e-85 companies are filing bankruptcy :notgood: . E-85 might not be around much longer, or become very rare.

ya i agree you are going to need a chip and some kind of logger also. just my two cents but i would sell the afc and get link it is worth every penny i am kinda doing the same thing you are right now but with a 35r and was going to do the chip plus safc but in the long run link will give you alot less head aches

Keep in mind if he's running e85, the 1000cc will be will have the output of a 700-750cc. I would recommend a chip and using the SAFC for fine adjustments.
I have read of guys using i believe evo maf/900+cc/safc/e85 with good success.

but the evo maf does flow i belive 40% better then the stock 1g? correct me if i am wrong so i gives you alot more room to compensate and you can run bigger injectors. i was running a 2g maf and 565cc and my settings were almost stock because the 2g maf you add about 18% and the injectors you subtract about 18%. So yes you could run it with an afc depending on what maf you are planning on going with.

I forgot the exact combo/formula that they were using. Its somewhere on the site, I think JayRolla was talking about it

91gsxnoob what maf are you planning on using because to run the afc without a chip thats really what is the main factor if you can run 1000's without a chip

I still wouldnt recommend it. I like to have "control" over the fuel/timing and not all this compensation. I'm not a big fan on the 55o/2gmaf setup without something to compensate. Some have had success but every car is different

ya i know i am just saying if he is set on not getting a chip or link it is possible i wouldn't really recomend it either. But with the 550cc and 2g i also had an afc to tune with i was just saying my settings were ALMOST stock but now i have link and thats what i would suggest but i know it isn't in everyones buget

I know this might not help you that much, but I'm selling my e85 setup. It's FIC 950cc injectors, an eprom ecu and a stage 3 chip from Jeff O (dsmchips.com). The entire setup has 531 miles on. You can PM me for info or find my ad in the classifieds section. To help with your question, I'd say also get a 2g maf or maft, the 1g air meter is a complete waste. I'd say you probably want a FPR with that pump as well. What parts do you have now? What clutch are you using? Do you have a TBE on the car already? What are you using for a logger setup? There is a lot more to consider. BTW the chip's Jeff burn work awesome!

Well I have an Evo mas and will be getting a keydriver chip. So if everything else looks good I'm set right?

I will be running a ACT2600 streetdisc, wft is a TBE? I will be going with a pocketlogger most likely. I do not have the pump, I have a 190 right now, I have the safc, mas, and the engine components. I do not have a WG yet.

Safc is something of the past.
I would suggest gong with something that will help you with driveability like link or something of that caliber. And as stated before, yeah watch out for that e85 meltdown unless you live around it!

I have a 3" dp, still looking for a catback, wanting a thermal research but cant afford it so IDK on the catback yet
