1G Front brakes only working on passenger side, Driver side isnt frozen

I put new pads on the front at the same time, I just replaced them again, the passenger side was ground down to nothing and the driver side looked brand new! The caliper isnt frozen because I took it off and got it to come out and then I compressed it back in. This is strange, I dont think anything could be blocking the line because I took the line off the caliper and fluid is flowing, Im also able to bleed the caliper.

Another weird thing, my passenger pads were trashed but I still have a super stiff pedal inside the car. Its like itll only move an inch even when the pads were worn down. My other talons pedal always stayed like that too.

I had this problem and the caliper bolts were slightly bent. Changed them and it worked fine. Not sure how that makes sense but it worked for me.
And they are $13 a bolt WTF

is it possible that your passenger side caliper is going out, not your drivers side, since your passenger one is the one that is wear so quickly.

Proportioning valve issue maybe? You don't have any leaks or kinked rubber or steel lines?

I had this problem and the caliper bolts were slightly bent. Changed them and it worked fine. Not sure how that makes sense but it worked for me.
And they are $13 a bolt WTF

I might look into that, if the problem keeps up Im gonna buy new calipers, NAPA sells em for $40 with the mounting bracket and the bolts.

ALSO, does anybody know anything about the stiff pedal? I was wondering if missing the valve in the vacuum hose would cause this.

The brake lines coming from the master cylinder run directly into the proportioning valve.

A hard brake pedal could be the cause of a few things:
First check your vacuum source, make sure its has adequate vacuum.
Next check the line going to the master cylinder, make sure its not kinked or has a hole in it.
Next check your brake master cylinder. Look for signs of it leaking brake fluid, usually between the master cylinder and the firewall.

Also it can have an internal vacuum leak causing your hard pedal.

Right on, Ill check those things out. All I have to go by for my vacuum is my boost gauge right now, it pulls About 22 at idle. Im gonna take my hose off the intake and check to see if that damn valve is even letting any air in.

You have it backwards. The driver side is most likely working just fine. The reason your passenger pad is trashed is because there is constant pressure on the pads.

You need to check and see if your passenger caliper is frozen.
Also check the slides on the passenger caliper.

When you press the brake the caliper extends, pushing the pads against the brake rotor and the caliper slides along the pins to clamp down on the pads. When the caliper piston or the caliper does not retract there is constant brake force. So either the caliper piston is frozen or the slides need lubed so that caliper can slide back and forth.

Always make sure to lube your caliper pins whenever you do a brake job.
