body parts swap 98 onto a 96

there is a 97 or 98 turbo eclipse at a local slavage yard, i want 2 swap both stock bumpers and side skirts ,the rear hoop spoiler and fenders onto my 96 gsx, will it all bolt on with no modification, even the spoiler? mostly worried bout the one piece spoiler bolting directly on. thx

You will need the 2gb headlights to fit the front bumper on. The rear bumper should bolt right up with a little modification of the reverse lights. If you have the 3 piece low rise spoiler you'll have to weld some holes closed on either side of the trunk and a couple in the center of the trunk. Then drill new holes for the hoop spoiler.

whats 2gb headlights? i have some aftermarket halo ones on here now, the prev. owner put em on, there is a pic of them in my gallery. will the sideskirts and fenders swap 2? thx

Yes the side skirts and everything will fit fine....but you need new headlights. The 1997-1999 eclipse had different headlights. The front bumper WILL NOT fit on unless you get the 1997-1999 headlights.

Do you see the difference? Look at the inner corners of the lights.

idk which ones are on there, i just know they are not stock, he said they are JDM but idk.

The 2gb headlights are just what Jeff99GS said. The 97-99 headlights are more rounded on the in the inside corner. Where the 95-96 headlights have more of a point. You could probably get the headlights off that car if they're still there.

If you have a 96 with 96 bumpers then you have the 2ga headlights. You need the 2gb ones

well i wasnt sure cause it came with a blitz front bumper and aftermarket headlights, but thats clears it up for me, thanks, hopefully that car does still have the headlights.
