would evo 8-9 brakes fit on an early 95. I have the lovely vented rears and would like to do away with them. I tried the search and did not see any mention of the evo 8-9 calipers or rotors installed on an early 95 talon. could this be an option for me or do i have to stay with the vented rears.

Thanks.

first off, why would you want to do away with those brakes? they are bigger, run cooler (vented) and provide more balanced braking....

but second, to answer your question, yes/and no. you can get evo 8/9 rear calipers/rotors and bolt them straight up, if you have the clearance with your wheels for the added thickness of the caliper. and for the front you would need a different front spindle/knuckle from a european/jdm spec galant to bolt them up, and then you would still need to have the clearance with the front wheels.

it has been done on 2g's and there is a write up in the tech section.

I thought that the early 95 would put the caliper in a different location. That is why you could not use the brembos on the rear. It is hard to find early 95 parts. I want an easier more abundant setup.

thanks for the link.
