I am unsure of where I should tap into for my volt gauge I'm installing.
Anyone have Ideas?
The instructions said to go through the fusebox, which is retarded in my mind.
Where did you guys tap yours into?

why not wire it to your cigarette lighter? make sure the lighter and not the bulb the bulb is only one with the interior lights

im going to be installing mine soon...but you need to wire it somewhere which tells you teh volt of the entire car, if you are running a short somewhere itll tell you. running to your radio and cigarette lighter are not good spots to put it i dont think as they are constant, yes?

maybe im dumb, but am i completely wrong? if so, ill tap at the cigarette lighter :D

You make a good point if you ran it off your cigarette lighter it could short/blow and then just rear 0 all the time. A location more towards the battery would be more ideal.

The lighter is a switched power source. Most TT installs recommend that wire for a tap (had one on my old Apex-i pen timer).
