Hello guys i want to see what you think
I took my car to the track a couple weeks ago. and ran a best of 14.5 at 99.8. my total build up goal is for a 13.5 car. my mods are ssac fmic, 14b with minor porting, 3" cat back with a test pipe, high flow intake, rewired fuel pump, and this was on 15lbs of boost with a minor boost leak and 245/40/18's so not the best for traction. do you think that 21lbs with 550cc injectors, 1g throttle body, a megan racing down pipe, and blow through should take me close to what i want if not what i want. i know that for big power numbers go with a 16g and dsm link but i want a 14b build up just to see what can be pushed out of this little thing. Now also im thinking that when e85 becomes available up here i will make the switch to lower knock what do you guys think?

those numbers are actually pretty good. A kid at my college just came back from the track yesterday and he ran a 14.6 at 100mph. 1990 GST 15psi dejon intake 3 inch turbo back trailerparkmade exhaust. He cannot drive worth shit either. I know yours is a 2g but its something to compare to atleast.

You will be fighting for traction as you start to get into higher boost numbers. a 14b will bring you to about 300hp. It is fairly efficent at 20psi also. Megan racing, stay away from, cheap junk. 550cc @ 21psi is pushing it but it will do it, do you have a fpr and a way to manage fuel? fuel pump etc? Also you maybe in the market for a headgasket with arp studs if your going to run those numbers...I found out the hard way.

But yes, 13.5 is very possible as long as you hook up.

im looking into running a keydiver stage 3 with a afc neo for fine tuning and no when i buy my injectors im gonna get my pump and afpr at the same time and im also looking into getting a set of slicks to stick on my stock 2g wheels
