So last nite i spiked a small leak in one of my fmu fuel lines. I took the fmu off and put the fuel line to fuel rail. Check this out this is where i need some idea's of whats going on here. I read all the time about fmu's and how they all work. I've used the search button. OK heres the issue. when i hooked up the line to the fuel rail. My car ran Really good. I have a 255 welbro. Now my main question. With 440 injectors that i have sitting next to me. What would happen if i installed these and just used that type of set up? The problem i was having with the fmu is that it wouldn't boost past 5 psi. When i took that off I'm looking at like 8-10 psi. Yes I'm running out of fuel at like 10 psi. Whats really weird is that i have a 8:1 compression. Went on the highway. 14.7 a/f . I'm putting a whole lot of detail on and in this so you can help me out here if you have any idea's. I also have a sfmu sitting here to. I ordered the lines for the sfmu today. I'm running a missing link and fuel cut is no longer an issue. Any one have any idea's why my motor runs better with out the fmu? isn't it suppose to be opposite.
