I was clearing things out of the way for my new injector install. I was going to reroute the non cruise control cable under the intake manifold and remount those crappy looking sensors off the top of the firewall to a lower and more hidden position. I eliminated the egr system so they just sit there doing nothing looking cluttered. i figured that since I was in there I might as well pull the intake manifold and remove that a/c compressor that has been sitting there being deadweight for the last 8 or so years! man is it a bitch to get to the lower set of bolts on the intake manifold. My forearms got pretty scraped up, but finally the a/c compressor is out of the car along with it's burly cast iron mounting bracket.
the whole unit weighs quite a bit!
