Hello i just picked up a JDM selectable fwd to awd transfer case and it is a 22 splines. I need a 23 spline to fit in my car. i have plenty of stock 23 spline transfer cases laying around and i was wondering if there was a way to swap the input and output splines on them so i can use the selectable t-case on my car. Or if there is any other way to use this t-case in my car becasue i really want to use this i think it would be a really neat thing to be able to do. ( changing the car from FWD to AWD )

Thank you to anyone that provides me with input in advance

I'm not sure if it's dificult or even possible to change the spline count on the T-case side but I do know it's VERY easy to swap out the output shaft on the transmission to a different spline count. It should only take about an hour with fluid draining, refilling and clean-up.

Another thing to think about is that I believe a matching switchable transmission is needed as well as the switchable transfer case to be able to swap from AWD to FWD.

Save your effort. The switchable transaxle's only possible worth is in using a 2-wheel dynamometer, and tuning without the whole drivetrain's load is a futile exercise.
