I just purchased my laser and on the way home noticed I have no brake lights.
All the bulbs have been checked and are fine. The brake pedal switch was replaced with a new unit from napa. The fuse under the dash is good and has power to it. I'm assuming I either have a bad connection somewhere going to the rear of the vehicle or possible a bad ground for the system. I don't have an electrical manual yet so I was wondering if anyone knows where the ground is for this circuit.

Power for this circuit goes from the fuse, to the brake switch, to the lights. The wires run along the driver side floor, then up by the rear speaker and into the hatch area.

The ground is in between the two lights, behind the middle plastic piece.

I'd also check to see if you have 12V after the brake switch.

Good luck.

Thanks for the help I got a chance to look at it yesterday. The problem is no power is getting from the fuse box to the switch if I jump a 12v constant to the input side of the switch the lights work when the pedal is pressed. I pulled the dash pad the vents and the relay block that was in front of the switch but the wiring goes right into the harness after the switch. Is there a connector that could be unplugged between the fuse box and the switch?

The circuit goes directly from the junction box fuse to the brake switch. The wire is green with a white stripe.

Check the continuity between the junction box and the brake switch. Also, try a different fuse if you haven't already.
