Hey folks, I'm about an hour east of Indy, right by the Ohio border. I've bought a 95 Talon tsi awd, but the engine is blown, so it'll be a bit before I get it on the road. I was just wondering if anyone else was around this area, I love these cars and can't get enough of em! Also, I'd be happy to hear any advice on the engine rebuild, haha. Well, it is back to scouring the forums for info.

I'm about an 1hr east into Ohio from you and I also just bought a 95 Talon GSX and I had to rebuild the motor in. Let me know if you need any help I might be able to come over on a weekend and help you out.

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven't been on much, work has been nuts and I slide out and wrench for a couple of hours now and again. I thought about making up some flyers for this site, been seeing more DSMs about my hometown than ever before. I feel kinda lame trying to start up a local chapter though, since I have no ponies meeting pavement just yet, .

It'd be great to have ya come over and help out man, I about got the engine out now, just pulled the fuel rail. My plan at the moment is pull on the hoist a couple times and see if anything comes up with the engine/tranny, lower it, remove said part, rinse and repeat!

So far, I'm gonna need to replace part of my front suspension, the bolts were frozen and I've busted a few heads off.
