I'm not too familiar with the girdle design of the 7-bolt, but for all 4g63s the large ones with the sides go in the middle with two sets of main bearings on each side. They have the thrust bearing built into the sides. So set up all your bearings on the block, then set them all up in the girdle, put the crank in, and then set the girdle on top and torque everything down. Make sure to use a good assembly lube.
