i ve been looking around for a while i read the VFAQ like twice......just wondering where i can find out how to tell if a engine is a 6-bolt or not.

thanks

if you read the vfaq twice, what is the problem? it's pretty straight forward. Feel up under the car on the side of the oilpan (drivers side), under the crank sprocket. If the oilpan is flat a cross, or comes out on a slight convex it's a 6bolt. If there is an indentation into the oilpan then it's 7 bolt.
