hey i wanted to know if anyone of you guys used the 87 rx7 turboII 550cc injectors in there 4g63. i know they will fit and all, but are they the correct design for the 4g63? please let me know. i want to know what you guys think about putting these injectors in my 97 gsx. thanks cuong

It depends... Some 87s came w/ the correct low impedance... that you just throw in & their good to go. The rest of them are high impedance & you'll need to modify the injector resistor pack for them to work. You know that little silver box on the firewall near that battery that you always wondered wtf that was for? Well that's it. You'll need to cut the all the wires going to it & solder them together. I did this w/ an extra resistor pack that I had & plugged it in.. in case I wanted to go back to the original configuration. I ran these into the mid 12s. The did seem like the closed a little bit after I'd let off the gas & which caused some backfiring whenever I'd let off the gas. This only started when I installed the injectors... & went away when I installed the 650s.. so I assume that it was caused by the injectors. If I confused you at all.. or you have any questions.. feel free to ask here or send me a PM.
