1998 Eagle Talon TSi AWD Vehicle Profile & Build Thread

Some pics of my attempt to resurrect a slightly rusty 1998 Eagle Talon TSi/AWD. This is why I shouldn't be allowed to surf Craigslist, forums or Facebook FS groups.

Have a 2.3L 7 Bolt longblock that came with the car. It may get used or sold for a JDM or Local 6 Bolt.

Black Box ECU. I honestly don't know what to do with this. I know it can be flashed, but never dealt with 2G's before. Gonna have to do some research.
Background
I bought this car on a whim after seeing a post on a local Facebook group page, because I have no self control.

The car had passed through a few local DSM owners and popped back up. I've always wanted a AWD 2Gb Talon and I had the cash, so I figured..."Why not?"

The car was a roller and the PO and his friend had started the assembly of a 2.3L Split Thrust Bearing Longblock with Eagle Rods, Wiseco Pistons and ARP Hardware. I also got two tubs of spare parts, the transmission and a FMIC setup.

My plan is to clean the shell up and make it as presentable as possible. I already have a pretty modified 1Gb AWD Talon, so this one will be more of a clean, mildly modded Daily Driver.

Since it's going to be a daily, I haven't decided if I want to use the 2.3L longblock or not. I didn't assemble it, so I don't trust it. It'll need to be gone through and is missing a lot of parts. It might be easier to do a 6 Bolt swap or just buy a 7 Bolt JDM pull out from E-Bay.

This is a long term project, so I'm in no rush. I wanna do this right.
