Anyone ever take notice of where the oil level sits in relation to the turbo's oil return line where it bolts to the pan? recently i've observed that mine it above this open ing when I read full on the dipstick.. I"m starting to think i may have the wrong dipstick. But then again my car holds a tad over or just at 5quarts of oil and that is with my large oil cooler taking up probably 1/2 - 2/3rds of a quart.

Looking for anyone who's had the return off the pan amnd the pan full and where your oil was at..

The way i noticed was replacing the connector piece of line that goes from a cut 2g OEM return to a garrett flange on my holset...if i angle the lower part out flat or down oil will run out of it by a good bit.

thing is this is supposed to be a "no-no" for all turbos and holset especially lists this in their oiling instructions.

When its running, the oil level will be much lower than when stopped.

that's all iwas counting on to maybe acceptthis as normal, and has been taken intoaccount, but good thing topoint out forothers reading (hate this damn keyboard now the spacebarely works)

mine leaks oil out of the oilreturn hole to and its all stock

good to know thanks fprthe input
