Does anyone here ever use a DahlBack Racing BOV? I've been searching here but looks like nobody uses it.
Is it good for our DSM?

I would start searching Audi and Volkswagon forums on this diverter valve(bov), its used a lot on those breed of cars.

To answer you question, Is it "good", yea it should be good for our cars. As long as the BOV is functioning properly and you are not creating too much charged air where the BOV is too small to diverter all the air, compressor surge, it should work for our cars or any charged air system cars.

As far mounting, they are much like OEM evo/2g BOV/bypass valves. It will follow the same install technique.

I see, thanks, so I can replace my 1g bov to dahlback bov? Or should I stay on 1g bov?

Stay with a working 1G valve. There is no effective way to mount this valve to a 1G flange.

the reason why I'm thinking about putting this on, is that my 1g bov might be broken and when I bought the car the owner gave this to me, dont have funding right now so just looking for other options.
or I might just get a used 1g bov from this site.

Since you have a 1g flange one your piping, I would just look here or on CL for somebody selling one. It will save you the trouble of having to find a pipe that will work with that bov.

Being that the majority of intercooler piping is stainless steel and this valve appears to be extruded aluminum.....well, yeah. Not possible.

More reliable than what, a 1G valve? That's f*ckin' hilarious. I'll buy this statement after the DahlBack valve has been around for 20+ years and cycled millions of times over 150K miles or so and is still working great without a diaphragm replacement.

Amen to that, I've seen countless honda guys run 1g bov and not even know its a oem mitsu part. Its there "JDM" Bov valve until I show them the little three diamond symbol on the bypass valve. 1g are rock solid, the only benefit other have over it is high boost application (which the dodge mod fixes) and the positioning of the diverted charged air outlet for recirculation.

Not saying 1g isn't reliable, cause it is purdy beast if I do say so myself.BUT theres always better. As for the welding, yea I didn't think that one through
