I have a 90 tsi awd, I'm looking to get my FMIC on my car soon. I have been looking around at piping kits a little bit and came across the extreme psi piping kit, Has anyone bought this kit? I would like to know if there are any major fitment issues or problems with it. Thanks guys

The piping you need will depend on what intercooler you are going to go with. From the sound of your post, it sounds like you already have a fmic, and need a piping kit to fit it. Is your fmic a short route? From there, do you need any kind of a MAF in your piping? etc....

That looks like an ETS kit that extremepsi is selling. That kit should rank up there with the best as far as fitment, (since it is a top of the line piping kit, LOL) and I'd guess better than any ebay kit. If by some stroke of bad luck you do have fitment issues, they will fix it for you. Unlike all the ebay piping, I've never seen a thread about the fitment of an ets kit besides issues like smim's that weren't taken into account when ordering.

Right now I am running my stock 1g maf, I was looking to upgrade to a 2g maf but i dont think I can do that until next month now. Thanks for the feed back, I'm want to build this car right I dont want any ebay crap LOL. This is like my 5th DSM but first time i had to really look into piping and I was out of the scene for a while up until now I have not heard of ETS

Here is the link to the kit I'm looking at, I have an Intercooler already so I am just trying to find a kit.I got a Mishimoto M line intercooler for christmas,I'm finally getting around to getting it on an getting tuned

This piping is designed and made by ETS, extreme turbo system. They make FMIC kits and piping kits as well as sell each individual pipe used in the kit on their website.

The piping thats in the link is designed for a short route system, which means the intercooler inlet and outlet is designed to go through the "D" shaped holes that are next to the radiator, I have the ETS street FMIC kit, this is the style intercooler you will need with that piping kit (more pictures in my profile):

As far as quality, its an amazing piping kit, all stainless steal. I really hate using aluminum piping for charged air, so flimsy and weak. I have aluminum with a t-bolt clamp trying to remove a boost leak, just made a bigger one. The SS piping from the kit should not bed when you tight the f*ck out of the t-bolt clamp.

edit: one thing I noticed is that the picture is of their old piping kit. The new piping kit with out the GM MAF option is one solid cold side pipe. I like the new design better, although it does cramp the intake area of the turbo a bit since it travels over the turbo intake (take a look at my engine bay pics to see what I mean if you dont understand)

If that is the intercooler you are working withthis looks like the kit you should go with if you want to get a kit:

90-94 Eclipse/Talon/Laser Intercooler Piping Kit DSM/1G | eBay

Long route is not exactly the best due to the extra piping and larger volume the charge air has to fill up (as we all know air compresses), if you are cool with do it yourself style, I would look at how the 2gs route there intercooler:

That intercooler and the extremepsi kit were not made to go together.
You might be able to make it work if you put 90 degree couplers on each end of the core, but it would have to be a stroke of luck if it all worked together.
For the price of that intercooler and the extremepsi kit, you should have just gotten the ets fmic kit or the vrsf kit. You are doing all the work of piecing together your own IC piping, but with none of the price benefits.
