What kind of IC is it, brand wise? I know theyre usually just aluminum... not sure if they put a special coating on them.

What type of anodization are you having done?

Does it happen to be a VRSF core? ETS said they can't anodize them because of some coating on em, but I never knew what it was.

i dont want to throw the vendor under the bus just yet, im doing the whole kit black the pipeing came out great, but the intercooler didnt the shop showed how there was a coating already on it so the new black didnt take vary well

Sorry bro, I searched for you... cant seem to find any info on this. Are you/they sure its not just like a basic clear on it or anything? I never heard of an IC coming out with any special coating on it that would prevent it from being anodized.

Did they really waste a whole two days on this? Dunk it in some stripper and color it already!

stright from vrsf

I've asked them, they said it was epoxy sealed anodized aluminum. I honestly can't seem to get a better answer. What specifics does your anodizer need to know?
