im pretty sure this goes under this section, if not i apologize ahead of time. the other day i saw a video of either a gst or gsx, and it made the sickest sound when it was spooling up, and the higher the rpms got, the louder it was. i cant find the video or else id post it to show you. its sounds almost like a constant small hissing or whining noise, it wasnt the BOV i know for a fact, it was some sort of pipe he used, maybe some sort of spiraled pipe or something. im lost, and i want it when i start getting more parts. if anyone can help in any way, even a suggestion, please tell me... thanks

A turbocharger will "hiss" as it spools up due to the air / wheel interactions in the compressor. This can be amplified by using a larger diameter intake pipe and filter element (less restriction). It is natural for a turbocharger. Ball bearing turbos tend to make more noise than journal bearing turbos because they can spin more freely w/o the extra friction on the wheels.
