Does anyone know or have this combo? Im looking to bolt my 6152e on my car until I go full garret, but the turbo will not clear the water pipe with the stock manifold. This is on a 7bolt.

It cleared fine on my colt with the SBR manifold but not sure if the FP manifold pushes the turbo out far enough.

I tried to search, but it was hard to narrow it down with using FP as a keyword.

Thanks.

I am not worried about denting the water pipe, but with the stock 2g manifold it isnt even close to clearing. That is why I am asking about the clearence with the FP manifold. My buddy has one he is going to lend me until I actually purchase a full garret setup.

When I put the scm 6152e on I too had clearance issues since I am still running the stock 2G exhaust manifold but set up for external wastegate on the number 1 runner. But I was able to make it work.

Get mean with it.

Are you running the E or S cover? The E cover is a .60 a/r(3" inlet, 2" outlet) , the S cover is .70 a/r. (4" inlet, 2.5" outlet)

I had similar issues with the scm6152e when I had my 95 gst, I had to slighly dent the wateripe. I am guessing the S cover is roughly .75-1" larger in diamter then the E cover. That is where the issue is, divide that diameter in half and that much more clearence is needed between the compressor cover and water pipe.

Here is how the S cover 6152rs fit on the Colt with the SBR manifold. Motor is a 6bolt with 1g turbo waterpipe.
