2G-specific a source for aluminum intercooler piping?

I was wanting to fabricate my own set of aluminum intercooler pipes but I am having trouble finding aluminum tubing that is suitable. Guys got any suggestions?

+1

You'd be utterly astounded to find out how many 'reputable vendors' for cars of all various makes and models actually get their 'performance parts' from this site and then mark them up. We found an Intercooler kit for a Honda Si turbo for 439.00 bucks. We later found the same kit on cxracing.com for 139.00.

Good people to deal with too, if you can get past the old lady who speaks very broken english,

what diameter are our 2G intercooler pipes?

2.5 inches? I have a set of Hahn racecraft intercooler pipes now but I'm sick of looking at those two 90 degree bends where my battery used to sit. The battery is staying in the trunk permananetly.

I don't see any beaded pipes. You have to cut them up and weld them anyways, just weld a few beads on the end of the pipe when you're done so the couplers can't pop off.

Those kits are all over ebay. Just get the cheapest one.

Or you could do this. How to bead your own intercooler pipes. I thought this was a great idea.

I currently use a cxracing intercooler and one of their piping kits. I still have about half the pipes, couplers and T-clamps laying around here somewhere that weren't needed, it's always nice to have more than enough when fab'ing your own.
