Well this BC is starting to piss me off because i'm sitting here in the garage and i can't get it right. First of all i am reading the manual and i am trying to change it to PSI from KPA and i can't get it to change and i tried it million of times. Anyone has this BC and if so can i get some help to get it tuned properly. I am trying to run 20 psi, can i get some help with the SET, GAIN and SET GAIN. Thanx

erald01 - I run this BC and I can try and help you as much as I can. I went out to my car and changed it from kPA to PSI and back no issues. This is how I do it...

Boost Control MUST be on the Off position
Holding down the Select Button, press the Mode Button 2 times within 2 seconds
This worked and worls for me

SET - This obviously how much boost you want to run. With the BC on, all you have to do is turn the knob either way to adjust it and then press the knob in to set that value. I am running 17 psi and it is set at around 45%. I would say you need to go around 55 - 60% and you may be close to 20 psi. Just adjust it as necessary and monitor your boost gauge unitl you get to your desired boost level.

GAIN - This setting is used to adjust the boost consistency. If you are having boost spike, then lower the gain. If the boost falls off at high RPMs, raise the Gain value. My Gain is set at 35% to maybe give you some sort of direction. Also something to remember, even if you do not adjust the Set boost, by adjusting the Gain you can increase the boost.

SET GAIN (start boost) - This is where you will adjust the boost response. Basically telling the wastegate when to start opening. If your Start Boost is closer to your Set boost, your spool up will be quicker. Now if it is too close to the Set boost you will most likely encounter some boost spike. My Set Gain is at 20 for an FYI.

I hope some of this information helps you out with the boost control. Dont get too mad it, I think it is a good peice to use in your car. Let me know if I can help out anymore. Good Luck :thumb:
