Has anybody ever ported the compressor housing of an evo3 16g turbo? It seems like some of the faster 16g cars have a larger outlet from the compressor housing, and I am wondering if they ported the outlet passage, and if they ported the inside of the compressor housing also?

Is this possible and would this be an improvement if you could enlarge the outlet of the compressor housing and even use a bigger J-pipe?

I know a lots of guys who have ported the compressor outlet, myself included when I had an evoIII. I just ported the outlet to match my DejonTool Jpipe. A smoother transition from one port to another is always ideal but as to how much of a difference this would have on performance, I would imagine it would be very minimal. I just figured might as well do it while I was doing all the other porting & if you do enough small things, they eventually add up to a noticeable difference.
