Limitations of the 7CM housing

I searched but could not get any info on these
whats the limitations of the 7CM turbine housing
will it get choked ?

i have a 46trim or 50trim compressor side ( the compressor wheel measure 53-54mm)
7cm + evoIII turbine wheel at the rear

i did go on the dyno sometime ago ,
the power died at 6500rpm

would this be caused by the 7cm housing or is it because i run on stock cams

Your stock cams and stock intake manifold are killing your power above 6500.

Why not port the lip out of the exhaust housing a little more and get the turbine clipped 15*? Most shops charge $75-$100 for a clip and rebalance, and you can port it yourself.

No. It's the cams/intake.

People have trapped high 120s-low 130s on TD05H wheels in 7cm housings, and well over 130 with TD06H wheels. A handful of Reds have gone faster but were most likely on 8cm housings. And yes, your cams and intake are killing your top end. Even with FP2s, my airflow flatlines just under 7k with a stock intake manifold, even with a big T3 hotside.
