OK, so I searched and read all the treads I could find on this subject. Anyway I hooked up the "in" side to the actuator and out side to a little nipple on the intake. When the turbo spools up I hit 20 PSI and the EBC is off. Did I hook them up wrong or do I need to do something else?

Thanks! :talon:

The "out" nipple goes to the WGA.

The "in" nipple should be connected to your boost source. When you say "little nipple on the intake" are you referring to the intake pipe? If so that will not work. You need a pressure source located either on the compressor housing or the j-pipe. Obviously the 16G doesn't have a nipple so you may need to drill and tap your j-pipe for a fitting. If that's the case let me know and I'll give you a link for some ideas on how to go about this.

BTW, I have the same boost controller.

Listen to this guy, he has 2 green bars. :D

Yeah it is on the intake pipe. I was praying that it would work, LOL. That link would be great Thanks!

So according to the manual I need to hook the out side to the actuator and the in side to the fitting on the j-pipe? Cause on the T25 it was the other way around.

Correct.

It shouldn't matter which turbo you are using. The basic principle is the same. You have your pressure signal going from the boost source "in" to the control box. The solenoid is closed and the signal cannot pass through to the WG in order to activate it. When the desired boost level that you have programmed is reached the solenoid opens and allows the pressure signal "out" to the WG activating it and limiting your boost.

If you are switching over from using you're stock boost control solenoid that may be what is confusing you since that is set up slightly differently with the connection to the intake pipe.

Hey thanks if I could give you another green bar I would!! :)

Here you go. Also don't forget to cap/plug the intake pipe nipple otherwise you will be drawing in unmetered air.
