Ok recently my brother aquired a complete cryo setup and doesnt want it... But afford to pawn it off to me cheap. My question is how much of a gain will i see with this? Or how much more boost could i run with it? I know what it does and how it works im just curios as to how much more can i get outta my car with this? if not much its still worth it considering how much more it lowers iat and knock etc.

Well which kind of spray is it. Is it the intercooler sprayer, or the intake cooler one, or the fuel rail one. I know the N-tercooler sprayer by nitrous express gave a turbocharged honda civic 52 horsepower. And if you have the intercooler sprayer thats basically the same thing as nx's except cryo uses co2 and nx uses nitrous.

I think its a waste of money. Save your money and just get a water injection kit.

I personally don't think its a waste of money. If you have one already, I'd say hook it up and see what happens. Look around on the web, because I remember there being some articles on this and the fact that it has the ability to drop the intake temps below ambient temperature. It definitely adds some power. I don't really know how much it has been proven to add without researching it some.

It is the intake cooler setup, and yes it uses co2. The way its setup is. The bottle of course LOL, then a stainless braided line into the engine compartment to a solenoid mounted onto the side of one of my charge pipes (right after the intercooler) then inside the charge pipe is a little aluminum sphere type thing thats hollow and the co2 flows threw that when i push the button then out the other side of the charge pipe then out throw another 3 feet of stainless braided line with a sprayer/purge type nozzle on the end of it. So i was think of mounting the purge nozzle just above the intercooler so that when i am running co2 thru the intake i will also be spraying co2 on the intercooler! :sneaky: I think i might just give it a try and see how it turns out.... Continue discussing it ### :)
