is this a manual boost controller? i found it in a box of parts that i bought for a turbo ford probe i had years ago but never installed. can i use it on my eclipse and if so, how would it hook up? i'm guessing that i can do it just like this vfaq: http://www.belitski.com/vfaqhallman.html - after i get a boost gauge of course

first, open it up to see if there is a ball and spring inside it. yes, that would be the correct way to install it. however, DO NOT be tempted to do so until you have correctly installed the boost gauge.

I personally wouldn't advise putting it on an eclipse unless I knew how much PSI it could handle, I don't know anything about the Ford probe but make sure it can handle how ever much PSI you intend to run, and I also agree don't put one in without a real boost gauge.
