I am in the process of installing a SBR street core FMIC. I have discovered that I will have to reroute the A/C line that goes to the condenser on the driver side. Going without A/C is not an option for me. I'm sure someone has done this before but I can't find anything in the forum. If someone has done this please tell me how, so I don't have to reinvent the wheel. Pictures would be great.

Theres a picture of my FMIC so you know what kind of pipe routing I'm dealing with

Im not quite sure what your talking about, but I installed mine in July and I will take a stab at it while it is still fresh in my memory!

On the drivers side there is a small pipe the points straight out of the condenser and dose a quick turn about and gose right back into the car. Im guessing that this is your delema.

I just put a small piece of old rubber hose around the bend were it would hit the IC core, then i tie straped it in place and just mounted the core onto the car. of coures you will have to "manuver" the pipe around the inlet on the IC but it can be done. i had to make the hole slightly larger than the other side to accomade the AC line.

just look at it and take your time. make sure the the pipe is not pinched or in a spot where it could rub on the rad. core suport and break.

I was pleasantly suprised when i test fit my bumper cover and realized that i wouldnt have to cut anything it fit! the core just barely touched the cover but no cutting required! I was so happy I called SBR and told them how impressed i was with this core!

good luck and again just take your time!

I will give that a try, when I test fit it I had the intercooler as you see it there. So I will test fit it with the bumper support on underneath as it will be when finished, this should give it a little bit more room.
