My 20g is tired and needs a rebuild so I was pondering having it upgraded to a green by FP. The 20g i have is kinda special since its got a 6h wheel, 8cm housing and a 3 in inlet. What would the diffrence in max power output be?

ASSuming you have the right supporting mods and you know how to tune, you'll see a little improvement, but not an insane amount like going from a T25 to a GT35r would be.

I have been thinking about going to a 2.3 bottom end next summer, Maybe I should spring for a red. I was looking around and it seems that 20gs and 50 trims are kinda close in flow.

correct me if I'm wrong, since I haven't looked at a 20g compressor map recently, but I know a 50trim is good for 48-49lbs airflow vs 44lbs for the 20g. So the 50 trim should be good for at least 40 more hp.

Exactly 40 hp is a good jump but if you got that 20g maxed out it aint gonna be night and day. THe 20 is FAR from tired when ppl are stil running 10's on it. Port that thing get some suporting mods and good ol tuning and you should be running 11's which is not what I would call TIRED.

My bad I thought you meat the turbo was tired like it had no ballz LOL. Oh if your 20g needs a rebuild yeah I would look into something like a RED or something of that size especially if your even considering a 2.3 stroker.

it's not much of a jump. the green just flows a bit more. you'll kind of feel the difference. my uncle ran a 20G while the other ran a green. i got to drive them both. the green did 11.5 on 27psi while the 20G did 12.2 on 19psi. as for supporting mods, they were pretty much the same except for different ICs.

Well I'm looking to trade. My "NEW" HX-35 for a 20 G. Of course you'd have to compensate me so I can have it rebuilt. I don't have enough fuel to get the HX-35 into its sweet spot with my 550's. But I know I could push that 20G. If you don't know much about this turbo read the report on it on this site, and on DSMparts.com. The HX-35 is MASSIVE. and can push 550+whp. I just installed it on October 2nd. It is comperable to a 60-1...Cost me $1100.00 from DSMparts.com. And I'll throw in the oil feed line. If you throw in yours.
