turbo shuts off @ 4krpm???

my buddy and i were wondering why hes turbo cuts out at 4000 floored and then kix back on at 4100....its like a jolt....he has a freshly built cyclone.....16g.....greddy bof....3inch all the way back,,,and manual oost controller....don't know why...couldn't find out whay...so maybe someone could tell me why.

How many miles on the turbo, when were the plugs replaced last, and the plug wires?

about 20k......i don't think hes replaced the plugs or wires...yet...i was thinking mmaybe a possible misfire......any more ideas?

Slow down and use some proper grammer. It's really hard to read.

Post a log so we can try to tell you. I would suggest replacing the plugs and wires until then.

use a logger mine did that the other day it just turned out that i was runing really rich at 5500, was it a quick hard pop? If so just turn the afc down a click or two and see what happens.

If its always around that same RPM, check the o2 sensor. My car was acting funny only at a certain RPM I would pass and I logged it to find out the o2 was going crappy everytime around that RPM. Swapped it out with a brand new BOSCH and it runs great.
