Leak found now what?

Alright the car was in an accident and i fianally got her back she had no boost, turbo's spooling (16g) shop said they didnt know much about turbos so i told them ill take it look at it and see if its just an easy leak then ill fix it no problem if not ill have to take it back to them they'll get someone else to look at it and insurance will pay. Found the problem but wasn't what i expected...any comments

It feels like its coming from where its circled in the picture but it might be coming right to the left of it

It's coming from your cotter pin WTF You may have a crack in your turbine housing around the flapper area that could be causing a leak. Take it off and look at it real close you may have to go have it welded up and fixed.

alright i sprayed it with water and its not coming from the pin but it's actually missing a nut....weird

its leaking from where the O2 housing and the turbo meet would that even be the cause of there being no boost since its on the back end of the system?

No, unless its somehow leaking through where the wastegate is, then yes..

how did you test for this boost leak your probably just felling exhaust from the seal around o2 housing or possibly a small crack. Either one would not make you have zero boost unless it was a huge hole and you would hear it if that was the case. Go make or buy a pressure tester and see were it is a leak that big to make you run no boost would be very notciable with a pressure tester. hope i helped
