I wanted an o2 housing w/external gate and heard decent things about the VPE housings so I bought one of them set up to dump atmosphere. I ordered it directly from Scott back in March. It took a very long time to get the thing, he lost my order, then another two and a half weeks after that before I saw the part. I had read on some of the forums that people thought that Scott was out out business as it was impossible to get ahold of him. I get the impression that he is a one-man operation as far as making and selling these things which explains why he is hard to reach. These things aside, the part is very well made, the flange is thick and beefy, the welds are excellent, and the dump tube fits perfectly behind short-route FMIC pipes. Scott made it for the 44mm Tial wastegate, and welded the flanges on, it was a direct bolt-on once I removed the flapper from the turbine housing. The 44mm gate is large but will fit with the A/C fan removed, you will definitely need a slimline fan on that side if you want to keep it. Oh yeah, $700 for the housing+gate.
There aren't very many pictures of them floating around so here you go:
