i just installed an intake oil line in my b16g. It looks kind of thinner them the one i used to have. Will it kill my turbo or will it still supply enough oil pressure? it's a little thinner than stock one.:confused: It's a custom made, bought it at local auto store. How thick does the oil line needs to be?
 
I put averithing back together and started the car. In 30 sec my oil pump pully cracked in 5 pieces and ripped my t belt. Heard big bang coming from my newly installed valves and engine died on me. :cry: Going to take head off 3rd time in the row. Replace my valves, new oil pump pully, new t belt(no more gatorback). What alse should i look for? All of the rest of pullys rotate fine. No crank walk. Anything alse that may be broken?

Unless you post pictures, I'm not believing your tale. If it really happened, it wasn't from your oil supply pipe. The pressure relief valve would have prevented it for one, and the oil doesn't all go through the line for another.

The BS flag is being unfurled. :|
 
i did not say that my engine blew because of my oil line :mad: It was i guess a different topic. That what happened after i put everything ales back together, i think oil pump gear was cracked before and after i changed my t belt, it cracked in to 5 pieces. i ordered new oil pump gear, t belt, valves, crankshaft sensor. My question was, what ales could be broken? I need to know before i take the head off. Need my car to be running before Sunday.


P.S. I know that turbo oil line could not cause the engine to blow, so please keep your B.S. flag to your self. :notgood:
