I have never tore one apart. For problem diagnosis though I was wondering if its a spring and ball like the mbc or what? I know how it works and whatnot just not sure what system (for lack of better words ) its run by. I am pretty sure they are all the same method. At the moment I got a buick GNX one installed and the actuator is mounted straight up and down but the rod to attach to the wastegat needs a nasty push to connect. Now im not sure if it pivots in there or what but Im trying to see if this is causing a problem be it binding leaking etc. TIA fellas lemme know what ya got!

Thank you sir! My searches for 2 hours revealed nothing. Not that it wasnt out there I just dont think I worded it right.

Also for the recoerd I drew a pic in paint( I know you can thank me later since its an uber cool program). Its based around the actuator yeah I put other stuff in and its not lined up but its for viewing purposes.

So in conclusion after I have learned the facts I am thinking that it might be ok in that position.

Thanks man. I am gonna put it in a vice and get her straight. Anyone else I show seems to think its ok which it might be. But for sake of eliminating a problem, I think its time to get it straight. Its hard to describe the feeling when im putting the rod back on you can feel a few little pops inside the actuator.
